April 2009: Here are 18 new pens from Joe Cali. Click on any image to see a larger picture, and if you are interested in purchasing any of the pens please contact Joe directly. These pens make use of the fabulous Mazzucchelli material of which Joe has written:
"I suppose I should explain to you at the start that, some years ago, I managed to buy a quantity of vintage pen making stock that was left with a plastics distributor in Connecticut during the late 40s, or possibly the '50s. At that time, the Italian firm of Mazzucchelli had shipped the material here in the form of rods, slabs, sheets and planks presumably to be given as samples to the major pen manufacturers. Many of the pens you'll see here, and hopefully in the future, will have come from this vintage Mazzucchelli source. The material is of a very high quality."
